Spring Post Season is Coming— Who you Should Watch in Girls Soccer
Districts — May 24-26, May 30-June 3
Regionals — June 6-10
Semifinals — June 13-14
Finals— June 16-17
DIVISION ONE
Starting with division one the number one ranked team is Rochester lead by coach Doug Steinard, with a 17-0-2 record with ties against Bloomfield Hills and Rochester Hills Stoney Creek.
Following right behind them in division one is the team lead by Head Coach, Jeannie Reddy. Northville is 14-0-4 on the season with no loses like Rochester. They tied against Canton, Salem, Oxford and Hartland. While also having there biggest lead for a game at 5-0 over Plymouth.
DIVISON TWO
Keeping the season HOT in division two starting with number one ranked Spring Lake High School lead by Head Coach, Becky May. They are currently 14-2-2 on the season heading into districts on May 30th, 2023.
Bloomfield Hills Maian is trailing in second and lead by Head Coach, Reid Friedrichs. They are currently 13-1-2 on the season with just one win away from securing that number one spot in division two.
DIVISION THREE
Unity Christian is sitting pretty as the number one ranked team in division three with a stellar season of 15-1-1. They have a loss against Richland Gull Lake by 1 goal and a tie against Grand Rapids Forest Hills Central.
Ranked number two in division three is Grand Rapids West Catholic with a 14-3-3 season going into districts. There highest lead game was 9-0 over Wyoming followed by a 7-0 lead over Greenville.
DIVISION FOUR
University Liggett is led by Head Coach, David Dwaihy and currently ranked number one at 14-2-0 on the season. Their highest lead was over Wixom St Catherine at 7-0 and they have two losses to Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood with a loss by 1 each game.
Coming in ranked second on the season is North Muskegon lead by Head Coach, Caleb Parnin. They are not far behind University Liggett at 13-3-1 on the season with losses against Muskegon Reeths-Puffer, Spring Lake and Elk Rapids. They had their highest leads against Whitehall and Muskegon Oakridge at 8-0
The State Championship will be held on June 16-17 at Michigan State University.
