Notably, Caitlin Clark’s name is missing from the roster, causing a stir among fans. Currently, Clark is 14th in the WNBA in scoring, recording 16.8 points per game, fourth in assists, and sitting 18th in steals according to Sports Illustrated.
USA Basketball claims that “experience” was a major reason Caitlin Clark was left off the roster. Clark spoke to reporters at practice saying that she was not disappointed with the decision. She said, “I think it gives you something to work for, you know, it’s a dream.”
As the 2024 US Women’s Olympic Basketball Team gears up for their journey to France, Team USA is looking to secure their eighth consecutive Olympic gold medal.
